El Museo del Prado is Spain’s main national art museum and is located in the central of the city. Even though it is not as big as the Louvre, it still has some of Europe’s best pieces, and has the best collection of Spanish art. Some of the world’s most famous artists, such as Pablo Picasso, Diego Velasquez, and El Greco, are featured here. Some of my favorite things I learned here include how the vanishing point can be used to create illusions, Spanish Christian symbolism, and unique approaches to statues.
